Program Manager, Leadership Effectiveness
Position Overview
This role is responsible for designing and delivering leadership effectiveness programs that build employees’ and leaders’ skills and capabilities to prepare them for their next leadership role, or to be successful in their current roles. You will architect programs and learning experiences that support the talent development goals of the company and/or the business group you are assigned to support.
To do this, you will partner with business and HR leaders to assess and discover talent development and leadership effectiveness needs. You will collaborate with leadership to plan out consistent employee experiences and learning journeys that are shared across the enterprise. The program manager will own all aspects of their programs, including the ability to analyze, design, develop, deliver/implement and evaluate program effectiveness.
Primary Responsibilities
Knowledge and Application
· In partnership with HR leaders, develop leadership development strategies that are aligned to company and business unit goals.
· Design, develop and deliver leadership effectiveness programs and experiences that support this leadership development strategy and align to overall talent goals for the business unit you’re supporting.
· As needed, assist in the planning and creation of other HR talent and organization development activities and programs, including leadership development, talent management, diversity, equity and inclusion, and employee engagement.
· Research and keep abreast of trends in leadership development, talent development, learning design, and learning technology.
Complexity and Problem Solving
· Execute on all program components, including analysis, design, development, delivery/implementation and evaluation.
· Sell the program’s intent and objectives to key stakeholders including business and HR leaders.
· Plan, coordinate, and execute the delivery and implementation logistics of department programs.
· Utilize data-driven insights to assess leadership capabilities to inform the design of your programs.
· Collaborate with stakeholders to assess root causes of leadership-related issues and develop targeted experiences/programs to address these issues.
Discretion and Impact
· Propose program design and architecture to business and HR leaders Secure alignment with them on expectations for the program goals and their outcomes.
· Plan and design measurement and evaluation methods to assess learning program effectiveness and impact
· Communicate ROI of leadership development programs and experiences to key stakeholders in the business and HR.
· Serve as a trusted advisor to management and director-level leaders to provide guidance and support to them as needed.
Collaboration and Interaction
· Connect with business leaders and HR leadership to discover talent & leadership effectiveness opportunities for the employees and leaders in your assigned area, which could be one part of the business, or enterprise wide.
· When necessary, partner with instructional designers to develop program components, including eLearning modules, ILT classes, workshops, digital learning collateral (e.g., job aids, workbooks, reference guides), and educational media (e.g., educational videos, audio, infographic).
· When necessary for scale, partner with L&D leaders for delivery support, and ensure delivery of the program components meet the program’s goals and stakeholder expectations by observing the delivery and providing coaching and feedback.
· As needed, partner with procurement to research, evaluate and propose external vendors who can supply learning content that supplements our programs, including creating RFPs and attending demos.
· Work with subject matter experts within the assigned business group you support to ensure relevancy and application of content.
Job Requirements
Education and Experience
· 3+ years L&D, Talent Development or Organization Development experience
· 5+ years Learning Design experience, with 3+ years designing and managing learning programs
· 3+ years of facilitation experience at the leadership and program level
· Experience practicing different learning design frameworks, including ADDIE, SAM, Rapid Design and LXD
· Undergraduate degree in I/O Psychology, HR Development, Organizational Development or related field strongly preferred
· Graduate degree preferred
· Proactive and self-starting nature who can “roll up your sleeves” to start executing
· Comfortable with getting started without the complete picture or all the information
· Independent and self-sufficient who can thrive under minimal guidance
· Prefer prior experience working within the functional area you support

The pay range for this position is $92,500-$115,000/yr; however, base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. This position is eligible for an annual bonus and restricted stock unit grant based on individual performance in addition to a full range of benefits outlined here.
