Product Manager II – International Payroll Integrations

Position Overview: 


We are seeking a Product Manager II to join our International Payroll team, focusing on integrations with global partners. This role emphasizes technical expertise, particularly in file-based integrations, and strong collaboration with engineering teams and external partners. The ideal candidate has a proven ability to manage multiple priorities, effectively communicate across cultures and time zones, and contribute to a seamless user experience. They will work on improving existing integrations and developing new ones, ensuring the highest quality and alignment with product and customer goals.

  • Experienced in working with file-based integrations, including reading and generating technical integration requirements. 
  • Skilled at collaborating with non-native English speakers and across different cultures. 
  • Adept at managing relationships with engineering teams, aligning efforts, fostering collaboration, and delivering impactful results across multiple teams. 
  • Customer-focused and data-driven, leveraging insights to inform product decisions while fostering alignment with various stakeholder groups through strong communication and interpersonal skills. 
  • Detail-oriented and organized, able to prioritize effectively and manage complex projects. 
  • Experience with HCM software is desired but not required. 

During the first six months at Paylocity, you will: 

  • Contribute to the execution of integration improvements and the development of new file-based integrations with global partners. 
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure technical requirements are well-documented and solutions are delivered on time. 
  • Build strong working relationships with international partners, ensuring alignment and clear communication across time zones and cultures. 
  • Gain a deep understanding of our customers, competition, and the global payroll landscape. 
  • Actively participate in product discovery sessions, gathering feedback to validate and refine integration solutions. 
  • Prioritize the product backlog, breaking down complex functionality into epics and user stories. 
  • Present product updates and progress to internal stakeholders, including leadership teams. 
  • Monitor post-launch performance of integrations, identifying opportunities for optimization and improvement. 
  • Advocate for a seamless user experience by incorporating both quantitative and qualitative data into decision-making. 

Required Experience: 

  • 3-5 years of experience in product management, ideally with a focus on integrations. Experience with HCM software is a bonus but not required. 
  • Hands-on experience with file-based integrations and writing technical requirements. 
  • Strong ability to collaborate with engineering teams and successfully work with non-native English speakers and diverse cultural backgrounds, fostering alignment and effective communication. 
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. 
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to clearly present ideas and updates to internal and external stakeholders. 
  • Capable of balancing short-term execution with long-term strategic planning.

This role can be performed from any office in the US. The pay range for this position is $117,300-217,800/yr; however, base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. This position is eligible for an annual bonus and restricted stock unit grant based on individual performance in addition to a full range of benefits outlined here. This information is provided per the relevant state and local pay transparency laws for the location in which this position will be performed. Base pay information is based on market location.
