Position Overview:
The Payroll Implementation Manager will provide leadership, coaching, training, and mentoring to Team Leads and their ICs to ensure all critical aspects of the Payroll Products are set up accurately and meet the client’s expectations within the specific Service Level Agreement. The Manager is responsible for monitoring the team metrics and ensuring the Team Leads and ICs are focusing on obtaining goals. The Manager will make recommendations to leadership regarding improving processes in order to further develop and grow the department, while also focusing on the client experience.
Supporting the East Majors Region
Location: Remote
Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm Eastern/9:00am – 6:00pm CST to support team in Eastern time zone. West Coast candidates are welcome to apply but with the understanding, hours need to be adjusted to support their team.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure that the client base receives the appropriate level of customer service and technical support
- Manage the day-to-day activities of the Implementation support staff by providing leadership, coaching, and mentoring
- Work with other areas of the organization to ensure consistency in all policies and procedures
- Work with the Learning & Development department to coordinate, assess and manage employees' training needs and gaps
- Develop and implement employee motivation activities and incentives
- Handle disciplinary issues as necessary
- Responsibility for interviewing and hiring candidates
- Provide positive and constructive feedback to employees while balancing ownership and continuous improvement
- Develop and motivate team members to reach departmental goals
- Works with the Department Director to plan and schedule resources
Required Experience:
- Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent Experience
- 2+ years of demonstrated leadership experience within a customer service-focused organization
- Creative and acute problem-solving agility
- Exceptional communication and influencing skills
- Excellent troubleshooting ability
- Excellent listening and communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-stress environment
- 1+ year(s) of Implementation or Payroll/HCM experience
Preferred Skills :
- 3+ years of demonstrated leadership experience within a customer service-focused organization
- Experience in team development and workflow process-matrix environment
- Project Management and/or Change Management
- Strong MS Office skills, especially with Excel, specifically being able to import data and use pivot tables, and VLOOKUP
- Experience using PowerBI for reporting purposes

This role can be performed from any office in the US. The pay range for this position is $79,000 - $146,800yr; however, base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. This position is eligible for an annual restricted stock unit grant based on individual performance in addition to a full range of benefits outlined here. This information is provided per the relevant state and local pay transparency laws for the location in which this position will be performed. Base pay information is based on market location.
