Position Overview
The Manager Contingent Workforce Programs Role at Paylocity will be responsible for leading, designing and executing our contingent labor strategies to meet customer requirements and Paylocity business objectives. This will include working with internal stakeholders to develop direct hire vs. contracting decision criteria and managing performance and cost of Paylocity’s third-party staffing suppliers. This individual will lead the managing of suppliers in support of customer engagements throughout North America, EMEA, and Latin America. This individual will also deliver on various projects needed to reach the program’s overall goals.

- Manage the contingent labor team including the day-to-day management and compliance working collaboratively with cross-functional partners (Legal, Procurement, IT, Finance and HR).
- Partner with internal stakeholders to ensure successful fulfillment of virtual Contractors supplied by Vendors, manage Vendor performance and fulfillment turnaround times.
- Use Microsoft Excel data analysis skills to analyze spend, volumes, rates and related vendor management data including the creation and use of formulas, pivot tables and charts.
- Develop and foster cross functional relationships successfully with C-level executives across vendors, internal stakeholders, and Strategic Sourcing professionals.
- Influence and add value while effectively communicating and building relationships across teams, departments, countries, vendors, and other divisions.
- Develop strong relationships with cross-functional partners and across business entities both in person and remote environments to understand business needs and ensure optimum vendor service delivery and satisfaction.
- Organize and track projects, proactively manage risks, manage project escalations, prioritize tasks, and meet specific business objectives.
- Identify, track, and manage issues, risks, and action-items across direct reports, while demonstrating consistent follow-through.
- Recommend process improvements that contribute to efficient data collection and interpretation.
- Leverage industry benchmarks, influence and drive operational improvements.
- Enable governance to guidelines, policies, processes, and legal compliance.
- Provide insights on business intelligence, benchmarking, and workforce analytics and consolidate data/information to present for review with primary partners and drive fact based decision making.
- Oversee the coordination and oversight of onboarding procedures and roster management of the contingent worker, inclusive of background checks and other contractual/compliance requirements.
Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience
- 5-7+ years of contingent workforce experience preferred (built and scaled)
- 3-5+ years of talent acquisition experience
- Development and understanding of Contingent Workforce Policies preferred
- International experience navigating with vendors is highly required
- Experience with Vendor Management Systems
- Strong analytical and project management skills
- Proven organizational and planning skills with a high attention to detail
- Ability to prioritize and work well in an environment with competing demands
- Ability to work proactively to anticipate issues and develop/improve processes
- Ability to communicate confidently with superiors and peers
- Excellent written communication skills
- Experience managing vendor relationships and SLA’s

This role can be performed from any office in the US. The pay range for this position is $100,000- $150,000/yr; however, base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. This position is eligible for an annual bonus and restricted stock unit grant based on individual performance in addition to a full range of benefits outlined here. This information is provided per the relevant state and local pay transparency laws for the location in which this position will be performed. Base pay information is based on market location.
