Reports To: SVP of Product & Technology
Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and strategic Sr. Director/Director of Product & Technology Operations to lead and optimize the operational framework across our Product, Engineering, User Experience, and Infrastructure teams. This leader will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth execution of product development, with an emphasis on operational cadence, risk management, metrics tracking, and launch readiness. You will partner closely with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with strategic goals and business priorities.
Key Responsibilities:
1. P&T Operations Leadership:
- Lead the Product & Technology Operations team, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives and product strategy.
- Oversee and refine the product and technology operating cadence, ensuring operational efficiency and cross-functional collaboration.
- Own the strategy for risk management within product delivery, ensuring proactive identification and mitigation of risks across teams and projects.
2. Program Management Office (PMO) Oversight:
- Oversee the PMO function, driving agile execution and progress tracking against product roadmaps.
- Ensure effective resource allocation, sprint planning, and project delivery through collaboration with PMO and development teams.
- Integrate risk management into PMO processes, identifying and addressing risks early to keep projects on track.
3. Metrics & Reporting:
- Establish and maintain KPIs and metrics to track team performance, product success, and business outcomes.
- Provide regular updates to leadership through KPI dashboards, reports, and performance reviews.
- Lead the preparation for key business reviews (QBRs, roadmap reviews) and ensure alignment with product and technology goals.
4. Launch Management:
- Oversee product launch readiness, ensuring Go-To-Market (GTM) strategies and customer support preparations are in place.
- Drive coordination across cross-functional teams to ensure a successful product launch and post-launch tracking.
5. Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Foster strong relationships with product, engineering, UX, infrastructure, and business teams to drive alignment on goals, timelines, and roadmaps.
- Ensure clear and consistent communication across teams, managing dependencies and facilitating collaboration to achieve strategic objectives.
- Provide regular executive-level updates, ensuring that key stakeholders are informed and aligned with product and technology initiatives, priorities, and risks.
Operating Cadence & Rhythm:
In this role, you will help mature and refine the current operating cadence to increase efficiency and responsiveness. You will be responsible for recommending and implementing new cadences as needed to optimize collaboration, tracking, and decision-making across teams. Your leadership will support:
- Refining daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly cadences to ensure smooth project execution, cross-functional alignment, and timely delivery of key product initiatives.
Direct Reports (Planned): Director/Sr. Manager Product & Technology PMO, Director/Sr. Manager Launch Management. Sr. Manager/Manager Business Operations, Business Analyst Metrics, additional roles to be built out.
Qualifications:
- Experience: 10+ years of experience in product operations, program management, or related roles, with at least 5 years in a leadership position in a fast-paced, technology-driven environment.
- Skills:
- Expertise in agile development, project management, and operational leadership.
- Strong background in metrics tracking, performance analysis, and business reporting.
- Proven experience in leading cross-functional teams, managing product roadmaps, and ensuring on-time product delivery.
- Ability to influence stakeholders at all levels and ensure alignment on business objectives.
- Excellent executive and stakeholder communication skills, with a track record of presenting to and collaborating with senior leadership and key business stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Advanced degree (MBA, M.S. in Technology, Engineering, or related fields) preferred.
- Certifications in project management (PMP, Agile, Scrum, etc.) are a plus.
- Familiarity with tools like JIRA, Confluence, and other Agile management platforms.

This role can be performed from any office in the US. The pay range for this position is $180,000 - $300,000/yr; however, base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. This position is eligible for an annual bonus and restricted stock unit grant based on individual performance in addition to a full range of benefits outlined here.
