Position Overview
The Product Launch Coordinator plays a critical role in ensuring successful product launches and maximizing adoption for Paylocity’s routine and consistent release. This role bridges the gap between product management, marketing, sales, and support, enabling internal teams to effectively deliver value to customers, focused on routine releases. The Product Launch Coordinator is responsible for coordinating cross-functional efforts, executing playbooks for routine release with low to medium complexity, and ensuring awareness and communication of product updates. Primary Responsibilities
Go-to-Market (GTM) Planning and Execution
- Develop and oversee product launch project plans in collaboration with Product Management, Marketing, Sales, Operations and Legal teams.
- Execute appropriate playbooks for new product launches based on the complexity and impact
- Act as the primary point of contact for GTM readiness and alignment across departments.
- Help organize and create content within Product for companywide Product presentations.
Internal Readiness
- Ensure sales, Implementation, Service, and support teams are equipped with the knowledge and tools required to understand and communicate the product's value proposition.
- Partner with internal teams to ensure creation of training materials, FAQs, playbooks, and enablement tools tailored for internal teams are created
- Partners with internal teams to ensure training sessions, workshops, etc. to boost team confidence and product proficiency.
- Identify potential risks or challenges in the launch process and develop mitigation strategies.
Project Management
- Oversee the execution of launch plans, tracking progress, managing risks, and resolving issues promptly.
- Coordinate and lead regular launch meetings to provide updates, gather feedback, and ensure accountability.
- Proactively identify potential risks to project timelines, scope, and quality, and work collaboratively with key stakeholders to develop and execute mitigation plans.
- Ensure that all product launches adhere to high-quality standards, with repeatable processes that align with the organization’s strategic vision.
Collaboration and Stakeholder Management
- Work closely with Product Management to understand product features, roadmap, and positioning.
- Collaborate with Marketing on messaging, competitive analysis, and content creation for internal and external use.
- Partner with Sales and Customer Success to gather feedback and refine strategies post-launch.
Measurement and Continuous Improvement
- Track and analyze key metrics to measure the effectiveness of enablement activities and product adoption.
- Gather feedback from internal stakeholders to iterate on enablement strategies and materials.
- Identify areas for process improvement to enhance future product enablement efforts.
Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree or higher, preferred
- 3+ years in Enterprise Software Development, IT industry, or similar, with at least 1 year focused on product launches or project management.
- Project Management: Proven experience managing small and medium projects, including risk management, and milestone tracking
- Risk & Quality Management: Strong understanding of quality management, risk identification, and mitigation strategies.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Experience working in cross-functional teams to drive product initiatives and ensure alignment with business objectives.
- Highly Organized: Excellent organizational skills with a proven ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
- Analytical & Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical abilities with a focus on identifying issues, assessing impacts, and proposing solutions.
- Travel: Occasional travel may be required.
- Experience in the HCM Industry a plus, not required.

This role can be performed from any office in the US. The pay range for this position is $70,000-$130,000/yr; however, base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. This position is eligible for a restricted stock unit grant based on individual performance in addition to a full range of benefits outlined here. This information is provided per the relevant state and local pay transparency laws for the location in which this position will be performed. Base pay information is based on market location.
