Position Overview:
The Support Analyst I- General Ledger (Tech Operations) will research, test, and provide recommendations on corrections and modifications to custom solutions. The Support Analyst I- General Ledger (Tech Operations) will audit data from various sources and provide both internal and external clients recommendations on next steps.
Primary Responsibilities

- Monitor and prioritize the request and phone calls in a timely manner from internal partners pertaining to the creation or modification of a custom solution
- Track and maintain interactions through the entire lifecycle
- Learn and become an expert on custom solution offerings (General Ledger)
- Analyzes and validates detailed functional/technical specifications
- Assist end users on the modification of items that may include General Ledger requests by working directly with internal/external clients to ensure complete resolution
- Consistent “follow up” and communication with internal and external partners
- Establishes intra- and interdepartmental relationships to prioritize needs, communicate project status and timing expectations
- Research and test functionality as required for troubleshooting
- Work through high-level analytical problems for best resolution
- Possess a positive demeanor to work with individuals with minimal technological aptitude. Able to translate technical knowledge into actionable direction
- Performs system maintenance on various applications
- Assesses the need for customization or enhancements to be reported to development maintenance and other Technical Service departments
- Maintains knowledge and understanding of all system functions/release features
- Responsible for managing client requests and inquiries through applicable phone queue.
Education and Experience
- College degree or minimum of 2 years related experience.
- Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks and interactions to completion.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to work through troubleshooting and resolve issues.
- Ability to ask questions and partner with internal and external contacts to find solutions.
- Openness to learn new technologies and tools as needed.
- Project management experience is a plus.
- Ability to collaborate with internal and external clients and work effectively in a team environment.
- Computer skills, including familiarity with web-based applications and MS Office programs required; solid understanding of Excel is a plus
- Work overtime as needed, especially during high volume periods
- Prior experience dealing with reconciling journal entries, balance sheets and labor allocation
- Prior experience with Payroll concepts is a strong plus.
- Ability to demonstrate prior ability or an ability and willingness to learn SQL.

This role can be performed from any office in the US. The pay range for this position is $36,500- $67,900/yr; however, base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. This position offers a full range of benefits outlined here.
