In August, we introduced AI Assist in calendar, along with a range of other features including advanced access management capabilities, additional schedule views, and more.  

Simplify how you plan, manage, and share events

Use AI Assist to generate the body text of calendar invitations via a simple prompt. You can even adjust the tone or change the length of the message — all with a few clicks. Plus, you can apply this AI-powered functionality to the entire body of the invitation or just selected portions. Need to get a head count for the event you just created? Enable RSVPs to track who’s attending, ensuring you’re always prepared. And when it comes to sharing events, you can post events directly to Community, complete with RSVP tracking, enabling employees to respond without disrupting their workflow.

Streamline IT security operations and enhance employee experience

Access Management brings HR and IT together by using employee records to power the IT directory – centralizing identity management while automatically syncing changes as team members onboard, change roles, and offboard. It also allows employees to go password-free and log in to their applications using a seamless Single Sign-On (SSO) experience keeping your systems and data secure. Support for Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, Salesforce, Asana, Zoom, Slack, and 7,000+ means your team can eliminate manual passwords – and the vulnerabilities they present. By integrating HR and IT systems, this new feature not only boosts security integrity but also simplifies access management, making it easier for employees to navigate their daily tasks.  

Maintain smooth scheduling operations

Manage daily shifts with ease and ensure proper coverage across all positions and jobs with the schedule day view in Time & Labor. Easily break down shifts throughout the day, offering a detailed view that includes scheduled breaks and lunches. This level of detail ensures every part of the workday is covered, preventing gaps in staffing. With the ability to easily toggle between week and day views, you can now choose the level of granularity needed to manage schedules more effectively.

Enhance training experiences and boost learner engagement

Set a limit on quiz attempts within training courses to ensure passing reflects true understanding of the material. You can even automatically award recognition badges when learners complete a training course to acknowledge and celebrate their achievements. By recognizing their efforts, employees are more likely to stay motivated, engaged, and committed to their professional growth, ultimately leading to a more skilled and knowledgeable workforce.

Optimize workforce management with a new integration

A new integration is now available on Paylocity's Marketplace: Altametrics. Enable a seamless exchange of data between Paylocity and Altametrics, a leading platform in labor scheduling, inventory management, and operations tailored for the restaurant industry. Employee data from Paylocity automatically syncs with Altametrics, while timekeeping data from Altametrics flows back into Paylocity. This integration eliminates the need for manual data entry, allowing new hires to be added to Altametrics within a minute of being entered into Paylocity’s HR & Payroll module.
