June 2024 releases: Enhancements to Reporting, Employee Voice, Recognition & Rewards and more.

The heart of HR goes beyond policies and paperwork. It's about fostering a positive and productive environment for your people. In fact, a recent SHRM survey found creating a positive employee experience was a foremost responsibility of HR departmental functions. We understand the HR challenges you face in juggling multiple tasks and ensuring a smooth experience for both candidates and employees. Managing a happy and engaged workforce can be complex, requiring efficient tools and clear communication. In June, we launched a range of features designed to streamline workflows, empower informed decision-making, expand reporting analytics, and foster a more connected workplace culture for you and your employees. 

Easily customize, search, and review data in Reporting

We’ve enhanced the Dynamic Report Builder with a comprehensive wizard that offers extensive options and settings. Easily edit an existing report or build a report from scratch to fit your needs. This enhanced interface also features new tabs including fields, groups and totals, filters, and reports, allowing users to effortlessly rearrange fields, edit names, adjust formatting, and control column alignment.

Additionally, recruiting data in dynamic reports has expanded. Recruiters can now access additional data about job setups, candidates, and leads, to make their hiring practices more efficient. They can also take advantage of dynamic reporting features such as filtering, creating custom reports, and scheduling. And three new reports - Job Setup Report, Talent Pool Report, and Jobs and Hires Report - provide valuable insights to simplify their recruiting process.

Lastly, the new natural language search feature streamlines the process of finding reports. Easily type queries like "I need a report of terminated employees" to quickly locate relevant reports, enhance your search experience and even discover additional reporting options. Natural language search results include dynamic reports, standard templates, saved reports, and report writer reports.

Enhance productivity, data management, and flexibility with new Employee Voice updates

Easily access historical survey data as true point-in-time results with the new survey selector on Employee Voice dashboards to attain accurate engagement results over time. This update ensures survey responses remain linked to the organizational hierarchy at the time of launch, even when employees move within the organization. And for your on-the-go employees, Mobile Quick Actions allow them to mark action items complete directly from the app so they can stay connected and productive from anywhere. This also includes access to a details sheet for more information about each action item if needed. Additionally, action plan data can now be quickly exported to a CSV file, and Employee Voice administrators can automate exit surveys for any termination type.  

Expand administrative options for more flexibility in Recognition & Rewards

Seamlessly adjust balances in employee Redeem Wallets to easily correct any discrepancies, such as incorrect Reward Bucks amounts. You can also now easily delete specific comments on recognition posts without having to remove the entire post, providing better control over content. Lastly, comment on private recognition to maintain a consistent interaction experience for all posts. Commentors can be administrators, supervisors, or the person who gave or received the recognition. 

Streamline employee skill management

Capture essential new hire skills information during onboarding and then seamlessly transfer to HR and Payroll after they are hired. An enhanced UI allows you to easily request and add skills, require issue and expiration details, upload relevant documents, edit or delete skills, and approve or decline tasks with ease. 

Simplify training management and ensure a cohesive learning experience

Efficiently manage and assign Learning Management System (LMS) training across entire company sets. If you have “Share Trainings to Community” enabled, you will now see a “Launch” button instead of “Assign,” streamlining the process and making it easier to distribute training content at large.

Extend your background check capabilities

Order and manage employee background screenings post-onboarding directly in HR and Payroll, providing a seamless and integrated experience. And closely monitor screening results through our partnership with background check providers that are available in the Paylocity Marketplace. Additionally, you can schedule recurring background checks, whether annually, every few years, or have them triggered by events like role changes or promotions, ensuring ongoing compliance and security.

Foster effective communication and information sharing in Community

Easily share multiple attachment types such as videos, word documents, and excel sheets within a single Community announcement for more comprehensive and efficient communication. This allows you to share a wealth of information quickly and seamlessly across teams or departments.
