September 2024 releases: Benefits Decision Support, time off enhancements, payroll updates, and more.

This September, we've introduced a suite of enhancements designed to streamline your benefits administration, simplify employee enrollment, and ensure compliance. 

Simplify benefits enrollment and reduce questions

Empower your employees to understand, enroll, and manage their benefits – anytime, anywhere, on any device. Our Benefits Decision Support tool simplifies the enrollment process by guiding employees through a series of personalized questions about their dependents, past coverage, and potential healthcare needs. Leveraging AI and machine learning, Benefits Decision Support generates estimated out-of-pocket costs, cost comparisons, and plan recommendations for medical, HSA, and FSA plans based on employees' unique needs. This significantly reduces time spent correcting mistakes/fielding inquiries and supports your workforce in making more informed, confident choices regarding their healthcare options.

Easily understand and manage time off data

Gain greater visibility into future time to accurately approve, deny, or directly edit time off on employee timecards, so balances update correctly and in real time. The system will cross-reference any entered time against available balances, future time off, and carryover limits, providing error alerts when limits are exceeded.

Simplify payroll and expense management

Reduce the time and effort needed to access and retrieve payroll records by easily downloading multiple pay stubs simultaneously via the Single Employee Record. And the batch merge process has also been updated so you can now merge multiple batches directly from the “Enter Payroll” page using a simplified module, significantly improving workflow efficiency and eliminating unnecessary steps. 

Additionally, you can now easily hide or delete payment methods in our expense module. By restricting certain payment methods, you can prevent employees from selecting outdated options when manually entering expenses, reducing errors and ensuring compliance with your company policies.

Easily navigate and analyze engagement data

To view and analyze survey results for a specific manager, filter results by manager on any page in Employee Voice, including the Engagement Dashboard, Engagement Results, and Heat Map. You can even toggle between seeing results for all indirect reports or just their direct reports, with filters persisting as they navigate between dashboards. By filtering survey results by manager, it enables a focused analysis on specific teams to help identify areas where managers excel or may need improvement, leading to more personalized and actionable insights. 

Additionally, you can now access AI-generated sentiment summaries for each question on the Employee Engagement surveys to help understand feedback at scale, making it easier to understand employee sentiment and identify key areas of focus. 

Foster collaboration across the organization

Effortlessly share your recorded videos directly from the Video Hub to Community with just a few clicks. Whether choosing a previously recorded video or creating a new one, you can simply select "Share to Community" and be redirected to the Community platform, where a post creation box will automatically appear with your video attached. From there, you can choose the appropriate group and finalize your post. Without needing to download, upload, or manually copy files from one platform to another, communicating with employees has never been easier.

This allows you to build training courses fully tailored to your unique needs, while still leveraging the high-quality, standardized content provided by Paylocity.
