Delaware Paid Leave Extends First Quarter Payment Deadline

Summary
Delaware announced a change to the due date for first-quarter 2025 contributions to its Paid Leave program. Payments for the first and second quarters will be due by July 30, 2025. The agency confirmed it won't assess penalties or interest for first-quarter payments received by the revised deadline. Employers must submit Wage and Hour reports for the first quarter by April 30, 2025.
The agency also stated that the Delaware Labor First application will be unavailable from 1:00 p.m. ET on April 25 through 8:00 a.m. ET on April 28 due to maintenance. Payment functionality via the LaborFirst portal will also be temporarily unavailable until a later date.
